Reykjavik, Iceland, 2014

SL – Association Of Independent Performing Arts Iceland is pleased to host the next NOBA network meeting.

The meeting takes place on Saturday the 30th of August from 10:00-15:00 at Tjarnarbíó, Tjarnargötu 12 in Reykjavík. The afternoon will include a network meeting, a “sharing stories” session and workshop, a “meet-the-expert” session and lunch.

We start the day with a short introduction to the NOBA network. This is followed by a “sharing stories” session where selected members of the network share their respective experiences in touring dance for young audiences. This segment will also feature an open discussion with the audience. The meeting also includes a workshop about self-organizing and how to practically work with production and discuss things such as how to present yourself at festivals, in print and online, or how to approach potential buyers or collaboration partners etc.

The NOBA network meeting in Reykjavik is part of RDF – Reykjavík Dance Festival.
